THE SKY AT YOUR BEGINNING
More than
one sign.
Your Sun is one part of the story.
Let’s explore the rest together.
YOUR CHART, EXPLAINED
A new way to know yourself.
Begin with your big three, then choose a planet or house. You don’t have to learn the whole chart at once.
Choose a placement for its role, sign, house, and a simple way to remember it.
Each house is an area of life. Choose one to see its theme, your sign, and the planets there.
Aspects are the angles between planets. They describe how two parts of the chart may work together. Choose a connection to explore it.
| Placement | Sign | Degree | House |

R = retrograde: apparent backward motion viewed from Earth.
These are beginner interpretations from symbolic astrology, not a fixed description of who you are. Your choices and lived experience matter.
How do I read a birth chart in simple terms?
A natal chart maps the sky at your birth. Start with the Sun (identity), Moon (emotional needs), and rising sign (your approach to new situations). Then explore each planet’s sign and house. The planet is the subject, the sign is its style, and the house is the setting.
The twelve houses cover self and presence; resources and values; learning and communication; home and roots; creativity and pleasure; routines and care; partnerships; shared resources and change; exploration and beliefs; work and public life; community and hopes; and rest and inner life. An empty house still belongs to your chart. It does not mean that area of life is missing.
Aspects add the conversation between placements. A conjunction blends, a sextile invites cooperation, a square asks for practice, a trine suggests flow, and an opposition asks for balance. Read the whole pattern gently, rather than treating one placement as the whole story.
How is my birth chart calculated?
This free calculator uses the tropical zodiac and whole sign houses. It calculates ten celestial placements—Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto—plus the Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, and IC when the birth time is known. Each whole sign house begins at 0° of its sign; the Midheaven can fall outside the tenth house.
Connections include conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines, and oppositions between the ten planets. The allowed orb is 8° for a conjunction or opposition involving the Sun or Moon and 6° otherwise; sextiles use 4°. Other calculators may use different house systems or orbs. Lunar nodes, Chiron, other asteroids, and predictive transits are not included in this report.
An exact local birth time and birthplace are needed for angles and houses. Historical time zone rules come from your browser’s IANA data. With an unknown birth time, possible signs are sampled across the local date and timed angles, houses, aspects, degrees, and retrograde labels are hidden.
