BLACK TAROT · IMAGERY WITH ROOM FOR YOU
Representation belongs
inside the cards.
Crowned & Guided centers Black beauty across skin tones, hair, bodies, ages, gender expression, softness, strength, and becoming. The goal is richer imagery that helps more people recognize themselves in a spiritual practice.
Why representation changes a reading
Tarot asks a reader to step into an image. When the people inside that world reflect a wider range of lived experiences, the cards can feel more welcoming and the symbolism can open different conversations.
Black beauty without one repeated image
The deck is designed as a full world rather than one model repeated across every role. Couture, natural texture, bold color, quiet vulnerability, glamour, age, masculinity, femininity, and fluid expression all have room to appear with care.
Inclusive by design
The imagery also makes room for LGBTQIA+ people, different relationships, body types, and forms of self-expression. Inclusion is part of the deck’s visual language, not a separate add-on.
Made for beginners
Each card uses detailed scenes, recurring symbols, and five keywords to give a new reader a place to begin. The companion book expands each card on its own full page and teaches the practice one step at a time.
